 (MBA) Program, an Executive MBA Program, and a Master of Accounting. The college is accredited in business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The Smeal College of Business has six academic departments: Accounting, Finance, Insurance and Real Estate, Management and Organization, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Information Systems. Smeal also offers seven undergraduate majors: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Information Systems.

Since its inception in 1953, more than 70,000 students have graduated from the college. Currently it has more than 5,500 students at all levels.

James B. Thomas became the school’s dean in July 2006.
