Sir Henry Wright, 1st Baronet (c. 1637 – 5 February 1664) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons
from 1660 to 1664.
Wright was the son of Laurence Wright MD. In 1660, Wright was elected Member of Parliament
for Harwich
in the Convention Parliament.
Wright was created baronet
of Dagenham in the County of Essex on 11 June 1660 and at this time rebuilt the house at Dagenhams. In 1661 he was re-elected MP for Harwich in the Cavalier Parliament
and sat until his death in 1664.
Wright died at the age of 27.
Wright married Anne Crew, daughter of John Crew, 1st Baron Crew
. He was succeeded in the baronetcy by his son Henry.
