Code Red

On the morning of May 8, 2007 Silver Creek was locked down after police saw suspects making out naked. The police notified school administrators of possible armed suspects in the area. Three suspects crashed their getaway car two blocks from the school, fleeing from a nearby home. One of the three suspects was apprehended.

Transformer Explosion

On September 26, 2007, during 7th period the school's transformer exploded, knocking out power and canceling classes for two days. The cause remains unknown, but it is believed that the transformer cross phased due to either lack of proper maintenance on the electrical equipment, or age.
