As of January 2007, member countries affiliated to SKIEF are:

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Greenland, Holland, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Reunion Islands, Romania, Russia, Urals, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uganda, Ukraine & Yugoslavia.

Hanshi Asano is also Chairman and Chief Instructor to Shotokan Karate-do International of Great Britain (SKIGB).

SKIGB was the first national association to affiliate to the newly formed Shotokan Karate International (TOKYO) in October 1974.
