. Not much information has been released as it is still in pre-alpha stage with the engine and main game components still under-construction.

Current status of the engine

After a several month hiatus from the Shifter project, developers have returned and began work on the project. However, during this hiatus period, major redesigns have happened to the storyline and gameplay components meaning the engine has had to be redesigned. Shifter: Robotic Uprising will now take the form of an episodic game, with each episode released as a chapter in the Shifter storyline.
