Sherif Ekramy is an Egypt
ian footballer. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for Al-Ahly
and the Egyptian national team.
He has previously played for Feyenoord, Ankaragücü
and most recently, El Gouna FC
, with whom he helped win promotion to the top flight for the 2009-2010 season.
His spell in the Netherlands wasn't very successful. Although signed as a great talent, he was usually reserve keeper.

Ekramy participated in two successive World Youth cups, the 2001
in Argentina, where he was part of the bronze-medal team, and the 2003
installment in the United Arab Emirates.
In the January transfer window season 09/10 Sherif made a move to Al Ahly the club he played for as a youngster and the club his father, Ekramy played for following his father's footsteps and hoping to become a legend like his father. After a serious of disappointing performances some Ahly fans were questioning whether he suited Al Ahly, but he proved them wrong as he played a string of good games insuring that he deserved his place as the starting goalkeeper.
