Shelagh McKenna is a Canadian dancer, director and choreographer.
She performed in the Broadway Dance Festival
and with American Chamber Ballet
in the 1970s, and her dancing is the subject of a documentary in the Jerome Robbins Archive at Lincoln Center. Her choreography is included in collections of the National Resource Centre for Dance (England) and Jacob's Pillow
Festival. Several works were presented at fifteen festivals in Europe and North America during the 1980s. One of them won three awards and another was selected for broadcast by Bravo! in the 1990s. The American Dance Guild
invited her to speak on choreography for the camera at the Hong Kong International Dance Conference and Selma Jeanne Cohen
