student who is willing to serve, and to help students enhance communication skills, problem solving skills and self-learning skills.

The Millennium Campus

The “Application for Re-provisioning on Ma On Shan Railway Tai Wai Maintenance Centre” was submitted. After a long and rigorous vetting process, the school succeeded in obtaining a new school site and the schools’ achievements were given high recognition by the EDB. The construction of the new school premises will be completed in 2010. Larger than the present premises by 60%, the new campus will provide more space for their students’ development. For instance, three basketball courts and two volleyball courts are planned.

Curriculum

The curricula of junior form aim at providing a comprehensive and well-balanced education while different combinations of courses are offered to senior formers so that they can choose their courses according to their interests and aptitude.

Subjects for Lower Secondary (S1-3)

Chinese, English, English Literature, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Chinese History, World History, Geography, Generic Skills, Technology, Putonghua, Arts-in-life, Physical Education and Christian Education.

Subjects for Upper Secondary (S4-5)

Chinese, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science & Technology, Additional Mathematics, Computer & Information Technology, Chinese History, Chinese Literature, World History, Geography, Economics, Religious Studies and Visual Arts. Some of these are optional subjects.

Advanced Level (S6-7)

There are Arts stream and Science stream. Liberal Studies, Mathematics and Statistics and Computer Application are offered as electives.

New Senior Secondary

There are 3 Science and 2 Art streams. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information and Communication Technology, World History, Chinese History, Chinese Literature, Economics, Geography and Visual Arts are offered as electives.

Funds granted by the Quality Education Committee for financing fifteen projects.
Highly complimentary remarks received from the Quality Assurance Inspection Team in 1999 after the team was invited by the school to conduct the Quality Assurance Inspection in the school year 1998-1999.
The Outstanding School Award in the domain of Management and Organization and the Certificate of Merit in the domain of Support for Student and the School Ethos conferred in 2001.
