The fine will stand against Sergio Mora, who weighed in at 157 pounds and will forfeit $57,000 of his $285,000 purse. The Mosley camp asked Mora to try to lose the weight, which he agreed to do after a spirited discussion. When he came back to the scale about an hour later, he was unofficially 153.6, satisfying the Mosley camp.
Baldomir weighed in at 153.4 pounds for the fight with Saul Alvarez that was contracted for 151 pounds. However, Alvarez, who is also making money from Televisa
rights, declined to take the $12,000 from Baldomir.
Vivian Harris was over the 142-pound catch weight for his fight with Victor Ortiz. Harris returned to the scale a few minutes later and made the 142 pounds.
