Shaena Lambert

Shaena Lambert is a Canadian novelist and short story writer.
Her work has appeared in many periodicals and literary journals including Ploughshares, Zoetrope: All Story, and Toronto Life. Her first book was a collection of short stories called The Falling Woman. She has also published a novel, Radiance, with Random House Canada, and Virago press in the U.K. It is about a Hiroshima survivor named Keiko who goes to the U.S. from Japan after the end of WWII, and the relationship she has with a Long Island housewife. Radiance was nominated for the Roger's Writers Trust best book award, and the Ethel Wilson best BC book of fiction and was a Globe and Mail Best Book.
