Shadow is a stylish five-minute short film made in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by Saudi filmmaker Mohammed Alhamoud. A one steadicam shot following two teenage girls on their way out of the door to buy their wedding dresses. The film subtly examines Saudi women issues such as child marriages and traditional clothing or as LA TIMES describes it, "The pacing is erratic, the sound echoes, but "Shadow" is powerful" The film has been shown in overseas film festivals and special screenings including Qatif, Gaza, Dubai, Alexandria, San Francisco and New York.
