 canal during the sixties. The population of Shadiwal is approximately 22000 which is mixture of Jatts and [Rehmani] and other castes with Jatts being in a ruling position. It is famous for its clay utensils.
Gorovade caste which is also known as GROVER nowdays is from there only. Punjabi was the mother tongue over there.
