 founded in 2000 by lead singer Jeff Current and bass guitarist Chris Dietz.

In 2004, the band was featured on 97.1 FM "The Eagle" in Dallas, Texas with live shows and interviews.

The band was named as one of Dallas' Top Ten Bands by Harder Beat Magazine in 2001, "#1 Band in Dallas" by Barstar.com in 2002 in addition to being recommended for "Rock Album of the Year", "Rock Band of the Year", and "Acoustic Performance of the Year" at the 2004 Dallas Local Music Awards.

The band has released two albums entitled Gravity and Skeletons.

After playing with Seven Story Drop for eight years, Jeff Current left SSD for the opportunity to work with Grammy Award winning guitarist Jimmy Allen in Against All Will

Their song "Last Man Standing" off of "Gravity" was featured in the movie "No Pain, No Gain" while song "How Do You Like Me Now" off of "Skeletons" was chosen by 93.3 FM KDBN in September 2008 to be the official song for the Dallas Cowboys
