. The original manufacturing facility in Fayetteville was opened in August 1937 as L.N. Gross & Company. In 1949 Lou & John Serbin, from Cleveland Ohio, bought out L.N. Gross & Company and changed the name to Serbin. Lou Serbin ran the company until 1954 when James Marion Malone was promoted Vice President. Mr. Malone was promoted to President in 1958.

John Serbin liquidated the company in January of 1990. In 2005 Tom Malone and Bob Malone sons of James Marion Malone bought the factory and is now being used as a office for BMA properties and as a storage facility
