He led about 120 Seigokan Dojos, Associations and Karate-Do Clubs and Karate-Do University's Dojos and beyond, as Chief Instructor and President.

In 1981 he won the Medal of Athletic Merit of Hyogo Prefecture.

After his sudden death, by myocardial infarction, in 1997, Mrs. Dr. Michiko Okamoto (Seigo Tada II), his wife, succeeded him as President of Seigokan All Japan Karate-Do Association (SAJKO) and more recently Akira Soke ( Seigo Tada III), presides over the destinies of that Association.
