. The main attraction of Seethathodu is the world renowned Hindu hill pilgrim centre is located in this panchayath. Also this place shares boundary with neighbouring state Tamil Nadu. In this village there are lot of tourist attractions are there. Two Major Hydro Electric Projects namely Sabarigiri and Kakkad are in this village. There are almost 7 to 9 dams both small and large provides scenic beauty to this place.
Both state run KSRTC and private operated buses connect Seethathodu to Pathanamthitta City.
