Scott Mueller

One popular series of books authored by Mueller is Upgrading and Repairing PCs. The first edition was published in 1988. As of 2009, the latest edition of this book is the 19th, ISBN 978-0-7897-3954-4. The various editions have sold over two million copies since 1988, a figure which the publisher claims makes Upgrading and Repairing PCs the most popular series of PC hardware books.

Mueller also has a series similar to his Upgrading and Repairing PCs, Upgrading and Repairing Laptops. It shares some of the same material as his PC books but focuses on the maintenance of portable computers.
