Scantic River State Park is a Connecticut
state park in the towns of Enfield
, East Windsor
and Somers
. It consists of several separated parcels.
Three parcels are accessible to the public. One parcel is a 167 acre (0.67582562 km²) area located in the Hazardville
section of Enfield, specifically the Powder Hollow area, and is open for archery deer/turkey hunting. A second parcel is located around the Enfield/Somers line has an area of 180 acre (0.7284348 km²) and is located between Scitico Road and Route 190. This area also allows for small game/waterfowl hunting. The third parcel, also known as the Harrington Lot, is 239 acre (0.96719954 km²) and is located primarily in East Windsor and is located between Melrose Road and Route 140.
