It is in the heart of Bergerac wine country and produces some of the best sweet white wines in France. Its pretty village centre has a Poste and Mairie.

The village is surrounded by several smaller communes each of which produce their own wines. A very pleasant few hours can be spent visiting the local chateaux who are always happy to guide you with a tasting of their reds, rose, dry and sweet whites.

Several vineyards offer accommodation and the Chateau des Vigiers golf course has accommodation and two restaurants.
