Sasha Mitchell is an American
actor best known for his television roles as James Richard Beaumont
on Dallas
and Cody Lambert on Step by Step. Mitchell also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
, the son of a garment manufacturer. Mitchell is Jewish and of Russian ancestry. In 1990, he married Jeannette Robbins. The two would have four children together before divorcing in 1997. During Mitchell's marriage to Robbins, police were called to the couple's home to investigate reports of domestic abuse.
In December 2010, Sasha married Rachel Mitchell, also known as Sharmaine Rayner
's fashion photography. He maintained a year-long contract with Weber which brought him great attention.
