Sarah has had a large lesbian fanbase since the beginning of her career with K's Choice, but it wasn't until May 2002 that she officially came out to the public. She discusses this on FaceCulture.nl, as well as on AfterEllen.com.

In 2003 K's Choice decided to split up, with siblings Gert and Sarah exploring solo projects. Sarah made a mini-album of her own, called Go
