The German Skating Federation as admitted Hoffmann to the German Junior Team for the second season in a row. She is now part of the C National Team and made her international senior debut at the 2008 NRW Trophy
in Dortmund and her national senior debut at the 2009 German Figure Skating Championships
in Oberstdorf.
Hoffmann won both the Junior Bavarian Open 2008 and the Junior Heiko Fischer Pokal 2008. She made her Junior Grand Prix debut at the 2008-2009 ISU Junior Grand Prix
event in Ostrava, Czech Republic, where she placed 5th and set her personal best. During this competition, she was coached by Ilona Schindler.
