Holvey graduated from Morgantown High School in Morgantown, West Virginia
in 2004 then moved to North Carolina to study Mass Communications from Campbell University
. Apart from her studies, she was a producer at the Campbell University Radio Station and later, a television show host for PACC10 TV. She also worked as a model appearing in several fashion shows and television commercials.
Holvey is a 4-H
All-Star and has received the prestigious 4-H
Spirit of Camp award. She has represented the United States
at the Global Young Leaders Summit throughout Central Europe and Australia. She is also an accomplished volleyball
player, having been selected for an All-State Team and played throughout Western Europe. Other academic accolations include being listed on Who's Who Among American High School Students
, the National Dean's List, and being awarded a Scott E Ellis Scholarship.
Her interests include sand volleyball, dancing, writing
, travelling and playing soccer at midnight. She stands 6 feet tall.
