. Salmon is located in the Salmon River Country of central Idaho. The studios and offices are located at 315 Riverfront Drive, in Salmon.

Salmon River Communications was formed in 1959, and was then owned by locals David and Elizabeth Ainsworth. They sold in 1969 to Dale and Renee Smith. Current owners James and Cindy Hone purchased it in 2000 and have continued a commitment to the area. The Hones have modernized the company in many ways and have big plans for it in the near and distant future.

It owns and operates two radio stations in the Lemhi County region: KSRA
