is an Adi Saivite saint who is one of the 63 nayanars. He lived in Tirunavalur in Tirumuraipadi. All his ancestors were ardent devotees of Lord Siva. He was also pious and devoted. Isaijnaniyar was his dutiful wife. She was also devoted to the Lord and one of the 63 nayanars too. Due to their honourable deeds in their past life, a heavenly child was born who was no other than Sundarar. He is too a Nayanar. In the history of all the nayanars, these three nayanars got a credit that they all belongs to a same family. Both sadaiya nayanar and his wife led the ideal Grihastha
