Saas Bina Sasural is an India
n comedy-drama television series based on the story of a young woman, Tanya, who has a 'sasural' (in-laws' house) consisting of seven quirky men, devoid any 'saas' (mother-in-law). The series premiered on October 18, 2010, and is produced by Vipul D Shah of Optimystix Entertainment.
The reason the men of the house hate women is because the eldest brother, Pashu, was married to a woman named Malti who left him because she felt she was a maid, not a bahu (daughter-in-law). Toasty and Tej conspire to get Pashu and Malti back together since it is evident that they miss each other. In a twist of fate, Malti gets hit by a car in front of Pashu and he takes her to the hospital. The family accepts Malti back into the household as the older daughter-in-law and she takes back the court case she had filed against them.
Toasty-Tej and Pashu-Malti get sent on a honeymoon
together. When Toasty faints, Malti believes she is pregnant, making the family ecstatic with joy. However, it turns out that Toasty fainted due to stress. The family is visibly upset upon knowing the truth. Toasty gets everyone to smile again whilst promising Tej that their little baby will come along one day.
When Tej opens a separate sari shop, his store and Pashu's sari store get competitive and the family comically gets stuck in between them. However, the competition creates a rift between Tej and Pashu. On his way to Puna, the bus Tej is in has an accident and Tej goes missing. Desperate, Toasty decides to find him and Pashu assists her. They finally find Tej, battered but completely okay. Toasty and the family are overjoyed and Pashu and Tej reconcile.

Plot
Tanya, known as Toasty, is an intelligent teacher in love with a kindhearted man named Tej. Though marriage is in the talks, Tej is reluctant to tell his family about Toasty because of a problem: His family has no woman in it. All seven family members are men who hate women. There is one Dadaji (father) and his five sons, Tej being the middle one.
