footballer. Currently, he plays lock forward for Western Province in the Currie Cup and for the DHL Stormers in the Super 15 rugby competition. On Saturday, March 19, 2011, he helped the Stormers defeat the Blue Bulls at Loftus Versfeld stadium in Pretoria, by outplaying legendary hardman Bakkies Botha. He is being groomed to be the Stormers' enforcer in the second row. Strong, solid (253 pounds) and tall enough to be a lineout option (6'6"), he is a top prospect for the Cape side.
