The Call
On Friday night October 2, 2009, Westland John Glenn was playing host to Plymouth in the annual homecoming game and trailed by 1 (28-27) with just five seconds left. Glenn then attempted the game winning field goal, only to have it blocked. The ball however never crossed the line of scrimmage, and by rule, is a live ball. John Glenn scooped up the football and ran it into the end zone for the game winning touchdown.
