" with Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander. It went from number 66 to number 3 on the Billboard hot 100 chart in just one week in America, breaking records as the biggest leap in one week at the time. It went on to be a worldwide smash in over 30 countries, the song itself sold over 1 million copies and was certified platinum by the RIAA in America, the album also was certified Platinum selling over 1 million copies and was certified gold in the UK, Canada and Germany. She was awarded with the very prestigious ASCAP songwriters best pop award at the 24th annual ASCAP pop awards 2007 for "Too little too late"

Her second American hit came not long after with the runner-up of American Idol "Katharine Mcphee, "Over it" written by Ruth-Anne/Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander went top 20 and the song itself sold 500,000 copies and was certified gold by RIAA, the song was then recorded by German band "Queensberry" and that album went gold in Germany

Cunningham co-wrote two hit singles off Pixie Lotts album "Turn it up" including the title track "turn it up" and the hit single "Broken arrow" as well as also writing "My love" for the album.

Cunningham has written with some of the worlds biggest producers and songwriters including Red One, JR.Rotem, Toby Gad, Evan Bogart, Harvey Mason Jnr, Billy Steinberg, Josh Alexander, Julian Bunetta, Guy Chambers, Andrew Frampton, Cutfather and Jayjay, Chris Braide, Labrinth, Quiz and Larossi, Jeff Bhasker, Alex Da Kidd, Stereotypes, Franne Golde, Phil Thornally, Mads Hauge, Karen Poole, Heather Bright, Livvi Franc, Jimmy Harry, Paul Epworth, Pete Martin, Danny and Mark from "The Script", TMS, Phrased differently, Future Cut, Naughty Boy, Mojam music and lots more.

As well as a list of established artists she has written songs with like Leona lewis, jojo, pixie lott, Devlin, Alexandra Burke, Sugababes, Professor Green, Tinchy Stryder, She has songs on new up and coming releases from new artists as well from Ed Drewett, Parade, McLean, Ms.Williams and Jasmine V.

She has had songs on 3 platinum selling albums in the US and in Europe.

She is Starting her own debut album this summer with release plans for 2012.

Singles

On 2 May 2008, Ruth-Anne released her first single, "Take Me Away", on iTunes. In its first week, it reached number 13 on the Irish music charts, based solely on downloads. It was released on CD in Ireland on 16 May 2008.
