 plays the electric piano on the song, and Trevor Horn plays fretless bass. Squire's electric piano is much more notable in the single version of the song, clearly audible in the beginning. The ending and other minimal details on the synthesizers and vocal tracks are different between the album and single versions.

A notable contribution to the sound of the song was apparently made by Hugh Padgham
