Early life

At age 13 Rona and her family moved from Northern Mitrovica to Prishtina
She officially began singing in 2004, she then was made a TV Superstar in Kosovo and Albania.
She was selected on “Ethet e së premtes mbrëma” Top 10 (translate: Friday Night’s Fevers),a popular show in Albania.
With her performances on the show,there were massive impressions on Rona once she left.

Career

Rona Nishliu was a contest in Albanian Idol in Tirana, Rona came 5th out of 7000 contestants.
She has worked on Radio Blue Sky(Prishtina)

Flakaresha

During her years,she met with two young famous Balkan singers Teuta Kurti and Vesa Luma,to sing a song called “Flakaresha”,created by a multi-award winning artists Armend Rexhepagiqi and Aida Baraku.
This song also competed in a famous festival in Albania,“Festivali i TVSH-së “. The jury awarded the Albanian Lady Marmalade’s hit with 2nd price price,and they promised them,that the hitmakers are going to present Albania in “Junior Eurovision Song Contest “, but Albania never participated in JESC.

Zonja Vdeke

Her 2009 song ”Zonja Vdekje” (means.Lady Death) is dedicated to her Late Aunt,won “The best vocal” award in Kënga Magjike 2009.

Tributes

In 2008,she cover-performed on RTK Gala Concert,Nexhmije Pagarusha’s hit “Baresha”,which is a very high note song and was sensational.
Also in 2009's RTK Gala Concert she tributed Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”.
