Ron Hovey OAM
(born 25 August 1932) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong
in the VFL
.
Hovey was a regular in the Geelong backline during the 1950s and would sometimes push into the midfield. He finished equal 7th in the 1959 Brownlow Medal and captained the club in 1960.
He served as President of Geelong Football Club from 1988 until 1998.
