During his stay in the house, a few of the fighters questioned Delgado's black belt and its legitimacy. Every time someone would ask Delgado about his belt, he went into a long story that the fighters said was not making any sense, and that the duration of his training was a week. Delgado later proved his black belt by posting the video online.

Delgado lost his third fight in the promotion against Andre Winner
