in its history in March, 2011. Of these three, Ryan remained and played in 86 games. Adrian Martin was named 2011 Relief pitcher of the year and was invited to the 2011 Postseason Can-Am All-Star Team. He finished with a league leading 21 saves with a strikeout to walk ration of 39/4. Teammate John Velasquez, pitcher, finished one strikeout shy of tying for the league lead.

A shortage of host families left Mike Richard, Ray Stokes, Ryde Rodriguez and Cristobal Santana with no housing options. They spent the last two weeks of the season living in the clubhouse and sleeping on sofas and training room tables.

The players should expect this kind of treatment according to Boulders president Ken Lehner- "Sleeping in the clubhouse is not unheard of if you work in minor-league baseball," Lehner said. "The season might go through Labor Day, so guys ended up sleeping in the training room or on couches; it's not a bad place.

"They have a flat-screen TV in there, and they are never late coming to the ballpark," he added with a laugh.
