Robert Gass

Robert Gass is a leadership coach and organizational consultant, seminar leader and musician. He was co-founder of the Spring Hill conference center in Massachusetts and n 1976 created the Opening the Heart workshops, which continue to be held to this time. He holds weekend seminars for couples with his wife, Judith, at retreat centers like Esalen and the Omega Institute.

Robert holds a doctorate in Clinical psychology and Public Practice from Harvard University. In the 1980s, he was President of the global consulting company ARC, International, facilitating whole systems change with Fortune 500 corporations. He co-founded the Rockwood Leadership Institute in 2001, and was the creator of their training program for Progressive Social Change leaders called The Art of Leadership.

Also a classically-trained musician, he directs the vocal group On Wings of Song, with which he has recorded a number of albums, and has authored a book on psychological and spiritual health benefits of chanting Chanting: Discovering Spirit in Sound [Broadway Books, 1999),.
