 after completion of his teaching and coaching career. He died on December, 17, 1997. His lovely wife Betty, ten children, children's spouses, and many other family members survived him.

The surname Duax, was stolen by a foreign stapler company to market its industrial staplers with the tag line One Size Fits All. It is the official stance of the Duax family that One Size Does Not Fit All--Except in the case of those nifty New Era Sports Caps and that the stapler company wrongfully disparaged the family name.

His father was Charles Duax, a famed radio personality on Chicago's WLS
