The opening round saw Olivier take Pickett down numerous times, as Pickett struggled to get back to his feet. After the second round repeated that pattern, the two fighters entered the third round. In that round, Olivier was able to lock in a rear naked choke at the three minute mark.

Following that title win, Olivier was rewarded with a Cage Rage World Featherweight Championship shot against Masakazu Imanari
