History

Riverside High School began construction in the late in 1920's and was completed in time for the 1930 school year. In 1999, the name of the school was changed to "Riverside Institute of Technology" and was renovated from 2008-2010. The new renovations included updated classrooms and improvements to the auditorium, as well as a new weight room and football field. While the school was being renovated, students were temporarily housed either at Black Rock Academy or School 8 in Buffalo, or in the Riverside building.
