Richard Christiansen is the founder and creative director of Chandelier Creative, a full service creative agency based in New York. Chandelier is dedicated to the pursuit of unexpected delight in advertising. He is also the co-creative director of Commonwealth Utilities
menswear, a brand he founded with designer Anthony Keegan.
Previously Richard was creative director of Benetton’s Colors, Suede Magazine, Milk Magazine and Radar
. He has designed 12 books and art directed 4 short films.

Richard is 35 years old, and lives in New York City. His junior years were spent living on a farm in Duranbah, Australia whilst his later high school years were spent in a small townhouse in Southport, Australia.
Richard has spent his entire life battling obesity, but to his credit with the occasional lapse, has managed to control this during his adult life.
Richard is the oldest of identical twins, Geoffrey being his younger brother.
