Design

The Remington model 770 includes a mounted, boresighted 3-9x40mm scope and retails for less than most production bolt-action rifles. As of March 2009, the MSRP is USD $460–$540 depending on the model. It uses plastic and molded parts wherever possible with particular attention being paid to lowering the overall cost of the rifle without sacrificing accuracy.
