Acquisitions

The holding company Fortis Financial entered into a share-purchase and subscription agreement with ACERC Information Technology for acquiring 23.52 lakh equity shares.

Religare Technova Ltd. ("RTL")(formerly Fortis Financial Services Ltd), which is a substantial stakeholder of ‘Asian CERC Information Technology Ltd’ (ACERC) — a leading capital market software provider — acquired Capital Market Solutions Pty Ltd (CMS) — an Australian software major providing solutions and services to financial markets in Asia Pacific and UK.

RTL acquired 76 per cent equity of CMS through Regius Infotech Private and Regius Overseas Holding Company, Mauritius — a special purpose vehicle formed by it.

Awards and recognition

Religare Technova, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has been awarded membership of the elite Microsoft Dynamics President’s Club 2008. The President’s Club consists of only 13 members across India.

Religare Technova was also honored with the ‘Star Emerging SI Sales Award by Microsoft’ in 2008.
