, a few miles from junction 15 of the M4. Redlands Airfield has been operating since 1990 after being granted planning permission by Swindon Borough Council for a microlight flying club and school. Over the years, skydiving, additional microlight hangarage and a cafe have been added to the portfolio offered.

 training. Redlands Airfield has three well drained grass runways of 750m, 407m and 274m and hangarage facilities for all microlight types. There is a 5 star 'Scores on the Doors' rated Cafe on site which is open to all Airfield visitors with ample car parking available.

Organisations based at the airfield include Redlands Microlight Club, Clearprop Microlight School. and Skydive London. Many national and local charities use the Airfield to raise money through sponsored charity jumps.

Visiting microlights are welcome at Redlands with PPR.

, is held at Redlands Farm every June and has been running for more than 50 years and has grown from a small village show to one that is recognised throughout the county
In 2009 Joe and Sarah Smith who own the airfield were given full planning permission by Swindon Borough Council to continue its operations.
