. The founder, Martina Fuchs, began by creating a small clinic in Sri Lanka. Afterwords, she founded the organization to back it. Real Medicine Foundation currently works in India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar/Burma, Armenia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Uganda, Sudan, Peru, and the US.

The Real Medicine Foundation has built two clinics in Haiti so far and plans to build another, mobile one. The foundation is working with local groups to get a permanent Haitian staff.
