Ravenscar was a railway station at the highest point of the Scarborough & Whitby Railway
. It opened on 16 July 1885, and served the village of Ravenscar
. It closed on 8 March 1965.
Ravenscar station was at the top of a steep 1 in 39 climb from both north and south directions (the climb south from Fyling Hall
being 3 miles long). The 1956 Handbook of Stations listed Ravenscar as being able to handle general goods only and there was no crane at the yard. A camping coach was also in situe until the autumn of 1963.
Until 1 October 1897 the station was known simply as "Peak".

Fyling Hall railway station was a railway station on the Scarborough & Whitby Railway. It opened on 16 July 1885, and was named after Fyling Hall, near Fylingthorpe. It closed temporarily on 1 November 1915, before reopening on 18 September 1920....
