to Gazze. Turkmens became a great help in Baibars' battles against Crusaders and Mongols.

As a result of Ebu Said Bahadir Khan's death, Üçok Turkmens turned their eyes on Cilicia and
they started to settle the provinces which they captured. Meanwhile Ramazan Beg was the leader of the Ramazans. With the help of the Mameluks in 1360 Adana and Tarsus were
captured, leaving only a few castles to the Armenians.

After the death of Ramazan Beg, his son Ibrahim Beg made alliance with the Karaman emirate.
Alaeddin Beg and Ibrahim Beg together tried to break the Mameluks' might in the province. After this alliance a great Mameluk army moved to the Turkmen provinces and began to plunder them but Ibrahim Beg's army achieved a great victory against the Mameluks in Belen. Also in this battle Temur Bay, the general of the Mameluks, had been captured by the Turkmens. Yilboga, the amir of Aleppo moved on to the Turkmens after this defeat and he conquered Misis Castle. Ibrahim Beg fell back to Sis but this was an Armenian province and the Armenians captured him. Then he was given to Mameluks. Quickly, Yilboga wanted Ibrahim Beg, his brother Kara Mehmed, and his mother to die. After the death of Ibrahim Beg, Yüregirs wanted to take revenge and attacked Yilboga at the pass of Saruca-Sam. Yilboga was wounded in his eye and he was lost in the field. Because of this the Mameluk army's discipline was broken and they started to flee. Yüregirs took this opportunity and launched many attacks in those provinces against the Mameluks. When the Mameluks returned to Aleppo, there were only a few hundred men left.
