The college is fully residential and provide 3 hostels, where discipline is the key thing:

  3. Ramakrishnananda Bhavana (incomplete 2 floors, completion is being done)


The college building is of 2 floors and another floor is on progress. A swimming pool beside the Brahmananda Bhavana is also being constructed.

Swami Suparnananda, known as Satyada, holds the honorary post of Secretary of the Ashrama, is also decorates the post of college Principal. Swami Bhudebananda, better known as Shoubhikda is currently working as the Vice-Principal of the college.

Its faculty members, fondly referred to as dada (elder brother), pursue spirit Swami Vivekananda's idea of education being the "mainfestation of the perfection already in man." The school teaches students to be independent and self-sufficient, receptive, tolerant, and respectful of nature and instills values and a sense of purpose for the greater common good of the world.

The school is consistently regarded as one of the best schools in west bengal. Outstanding teacher-student interaction & excellent infrastructure are the distinguishing factors of the school.

Besides the residential college and school, the ashrama runs a Blind Boys' Academy, Technical Schools and Lok Siksha Parishad (an NGO).
