Film career

Rajkiran began his film acting career with three consecutive box office hits in - En Rasavin Manasilae (1991), Aranmanai Kili (1993) and Ellamae en rasa than (1993). He produced, directed and played the lead role in all three films. Currently he is cast in supporting roles. He has won the Filmfare Best Tamil Supporting Actor Award for his performance in the film Thavamai Thavamirundhu
