Administration

There are 2000 people and 200 mentors at the university. Every student is given a laptop, and all students use the Internet as a resource. There are two projectors in each classroom. In this university, all courses are based on the NCERT syllabus and lessons are projected on screens. The first two years are intermediate, and the later four years are B.Tech. Classes start at 8:15 am and continue until 11:45, then 12:45 to 5:00 pm is dedicated to problem solving.

Campus

The residential part of campus consists of four hostel blocks for boys, and four for girls. The boys dormitories are Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Eta. The girls dormitories are Theta, Rho, Delta, Sigma.

Each block consists of 12 rooms, and every room holds 23 students. This campus has six mess halls: three for each gender. There are four class blocks for students: Kappa, Omega, Mu, Lambda. Each block has 12 classrooms; every class room consists of 48 students.

The admissions for the academic year 2011-12 are in progress now. Earlier it used to be 2000 students for each campus, but now it is only 1000 students for each branch which would be 3000 in total. There are three messes for boys that are Yahoo, Google and MSN, and for girls Windows, Linux and ...

The construction of the new academic blocks has been finished, and all the laboratories are being used by the students extensively. Though there is no playground

, students still enjoy playing games because of the newly constructed basket-ball courts, shuttle courts. Students are trained in arts like music, dance, singing and many more.

Extra-curricular activities

RGUKT is encouraging students to participate in "arts, music, drama, debate, paintings" and other activities. It also provides the students with both indoor and outdoor games.
