History

Quality Dairy has operated since 1936. In 1958 the company's owners were listed as Samuel and Tom Frame.

In 1993 or 1994 the company petitioned the Michigan Department of Agriculture

 to eliminate size restrictions on milk containers so that the company could sell milk in "bonus pack" in non-standard sizes.

In 2001 Quality Dairy announced that sales of single-serving milk containers in plastic bottles had increased following the addition of a pop-up straw (manufactured by the PopStraw Co., Roseville, Michigan) to the package.

In 2008 the company was selling milk advertised as hormone
