Purista is a treatment which works to inhibit bacterial growth, based on polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride
(PHMB).
The treatment is integrated into the product during manufacture and is produced and marketed by Arch Chemicals, Inc.
The antimicrobial qualities mean that clothing will stay 'fresher', developing less odours than an untreated garment.
